Hi!

I've been painting this weekend, and just generally getting things ready for Indie Craft Parade, which is coming up in less than 2 weeks... wow.  How did that happen?   Anyway, in my ferocious search for interesting ways to display the paintings, I came across this great chair at ye olde local Goodwill.  It was sad, and black, and there was no "seat"... but I made a couple of adjustments and I love how it turned out. 
And it was $10... (love that too!)

Hi!

I've been working on more new pieces, so look for an update to the *Cake website sometime next week.   One thing that doesn't translate online is how these little paintings all fit together... I'm making 2 of this design because I love how it looks when they're together and one is turned the other way... 

...and even with the whole series, when you're ready for something "new", all you have to do is turn one in a different direction and you've got a whole new look.
