I've been working on a couple of new projects,
and this is one of them...
this girl in a tea cup!
(I especially love her pink cheeks~!)
It's my first attempt at incorporating a "character" into a pendant,so I'm excited to see how her personality
(and my sketching ability!) will develop.
She'll be up in the gallery tomorrow, and the other new project,
which also has something to do with a tea cup,
will be coming soon!

...in the Silver Forest!

Hi there!
I just popped in to say hi and to post this piece from the
Silver Forest shop... all that talk yesterday about clowns made me think of this little circus tent... (now that would be a tiny circus!)  There are lots of packages to get out today, and some pieces that need to be cast, but the plan is to fit in some baking time this afternoon for the oatmeal-toffee-dried cherry-chocolate chunk cookies (whew!) I'm taking to take to a small dinner party at a friend's house tonight.  I've only made them once before, for this lovely lady... I'll let you know how they turn out...

a bee in a box... and an update!

I've been working on a bee in a box... it's not quite finished, but here it is just the same.  I hung it to see what's what... I'll keep you posted on how it turns out...

Hello!  

Here's a little sneak peek at one of the new additions to the Silver Forest... the new designs I've been working on should be finished up and in the shop this weekend.  Abe was of course, inspired by yesterday's inauguration... (and he's kind of foresty, right?!  ...he was as tall as a tree - and he did have that house made of logs! :) 
Yesterday was such an amazing day... I know we have some serious challenges confronting us, but I'm profoundly proud of my country, and I'm still buzzing with a sense of hope and possibility for the future...  what a nice feeling!

Hi and hello! 

I'm really happy to have packaged the first Silver Forest order today... thanks so much for taking a look at the new shop!  As I mentioned, I'm not really sure where this little project will go... I just felt inspired to start something new and went with it.  It may turn into a place for new SpoonFed Art designs - or it may be a place for work other than spoon pendants, who knows... we'll just have to wait and see!  Stay tuned for some new designs this week... and I'm working on those crummy photos... my goodness, you'd think I'd have a better grasp on shooting the pendants by now!  They're just tricky.  Anyway, I hope to have some new photos up this week as well.  I'm off to get started on dinner... I have a hankering for broccoli and cheese... yummm!  Have a nice night!

I'm so excited!  The Silver Forest has been my project over the holidays, and it's finally up and running!  It's a new etsy shop, which right now features a handful of new foresty-themed designs in mini pendants.  They're all original, and are only available in the etsy shop.  Here's a little peek:
