Hello!

The fundraiser at The Beverly Hills Country Club on Saturday went great!  Lots of wonderful items were auctioned off for iaedp, and the painting demo was a real highlight for me... it was my first time doing any type of art demonstration in public and I have to say, it was tons of fun... could it be because I'm in love with beeswax?!  Yep, I think so!

I've been working and re-working a painting that incorporates a photo I took of Pann's, my favorite 1950s Coffee Shop in L.A.  The building was designed by Armet and Davis, and is a great example of “Googie” architecture. It's such a fun place, and has made an appearance in films like Pulp Fiction and Bewitched, which was sadly disappointing but anyway,
I can't wait to see how it turns out...
